Computer Forensics, Which path should I take? Help would be very appreciated!?

hey guys, I just need some opinions, even facts would be nice.
I currently am about to get my associates degree in computer repair. What I want to do is be a computer investigator, and go for computer forensics.
Right now im thinking of what would be better. Either going for my bachelors degree specifically for computer forensics, then go for my masters in computer forensics, or take computer science for my b.a. then the forensics for my masters?
Also, if anything, would there be something better to take rather than both of those for my b.a.?
Any additional information would be greatly appreciated, I just want to take the best path and figure some outside yahoo answer knowledge couldn’t hurt at all. thanks so much

Some practitioners find it worth their time and money, but others find it less practical and not worth their efforts. It is completely up to the student on whether they pursue a joint degree or not.
When training to be a practitioner of this genre, it is important to apply for related internships and jobs that will give hands on experience of an adequate measure. Study all materials that are recommended by mentors and well known psychologists in this practice, and always stay up to date on all published journals, and rules and regulations.
While attending courses in which to gain a doctoral degree in psychology, it is very important to find a mentor. Mentors are those who guide those just starting out in the field, by offering their expert advice and show them the path(s) to success.
Psychology and forensics seminars are two other highly recommended ways in which students can get a better feel for their field and learn from the best. Practitioners from all over the world hold seminars in many different locations to help those just starting out, as well as those who a weathered in this particular field, by presenting new ideas, opinions, and setting students up with helpful internships to get them off to an excellent start!

Published May 9, 2012 | i watch FBI files on discovery channel and they show how the computer guys just hack into anyones computer from anywhere and retrieve whatever data they want for evidence and stuff and also control anyones computer from anywhere and also retrieve data from erased and damaged hardisks and monitor ppls movements on computer, i think its really cool , what course does one have to do to be able to do that, i got enrolled in computer science engineering but is there anything more besides this to be able to do all mentioned above and what are the job opportunities?.pls help.thanx

I will graduate within the next 3 months, and wanted to start my masters in computer forensics/ information assurance
Does anyone have any recommendations on what I need to do, school to go to, certifications to get, to get into FBI? I am willing to go for masters and doctorates.

What to Expect From a Forensic Polygraph Examiner
Published May 6, 2012 | Local and national law enforcement often relies on forensic polygraph examiners to play a very important role in criminal investigations. Polygraph analysis combines the interpretation of body language and scientific data to determine the level of deceit or truthfulness in a person. The forensic polygraph examiner administers the actual polygraph exam and interprets the results to come to a reasonable conclusion on the truthfulness of the test subject.
Forensic polygraph examiner maintaining and operating the polygraph machine is also responsible for interpreting the exam results in order to determine the truthfulness of the individual taking the polygraph exam.
Polygraph examiners must be to interpret scientific data and human behavior. As with other forensic scientists, forensic polygraph examiners must understand the science behind their analysis, but also the art.
Like other forensic scientists, forensic polygraph examiners must understand the science that govern their analysis but also the art of human behavior. In a sense, the forensic polygraph examiner must be an expert at several disciplines. Unlike other forensic scientists, who basically draw their conclusions directly from scientific data, the results from a polygraph examination are a combination of data and behavior analysis, making it much more open to interpretation. So in addition to knowing the normal physiological ranges of people when they are lying, the polygraph examiner must also establish each test subject’s individual range while being truthful. Thus, a series of “control” questions are asked at the beginning and end of each polygraph test. Due to the uniqueness physiology response of each person, the readings that indicate normal stress levels (which is very difficult to attain while being asked questions in a stressful environment) are compared to those associated with being untruthful.
Another challenge the forensic examiner faces is how to spot the methods people attempt to try to “beat” the polygraph test. It is not uncommon for test subjects to try evasive behaviors such as controlled breathing in order to create artificial fluctuations in the polygraph results. This is an attempt to alter the results of the readings in order to make analysis impossible. The ability to spot such behavior and still achieve a valid conclusion is what every good forensic polygraph examiner must achieve.
